Vintage Antique Rare Schwinn Town And Country Tandem Bicycle – No Reserve
Up for grabs is a RARE Schwinn Town and Country Tandem Bicycle. The location of the serial number on the bottom of the crank dates this bicycle between 1948 - 1952 , although I am unable to locate the serial number in the Schwinn Database to confirm this.
The serial number located on the bottom of the crank is T004590
As far as I know, this tandem is all original, EXCEPT for the seats. These were added on at some point in the bike's history. I do not have the original seats available.
While this bike is very solid and all there, there are some areas containing or beginning to show rust.
The main chain guard has some very light pitting. The handlebars are beginning to rust and peel. Fenders are in pretty good condition as far as chrome, but the back fender as some dents in it.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE examine the pictures carefully and don't hesitate to ask any questions, or request a better picture of something in particular.
